Vistamatic Vision Panels are in use in hundreds of hospitals and medical establishments throughout the world. The rugged though simple design offers absolute reliability. The wide range of options, design formats and product applications mean that architects, designers and door manufacturers are sure to find a product in our range to suit each project.

From the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London to the Saad Hospital in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia to Doctors Community Hospital in Maryland, USA, the panels are used in a variety of areas. Standard Vistamatic Vision Panels are manufactured using 6mm tempered glass meeting British and European Standards BS EN 12600 Class class A (formerly BS EN 6206).

Additional security protection is available on all Vistamatic models with the application of 3M Scotchshield Ultra High Performance Safety and Security Window Film. This film meets BS EN 12600 Class ‘A’ Impact Resistance, BS5544 Anti-Bandit and BS 476 parts 5,6 and 7 for fire.

Vistamatic Vision Panels have achieved a minimum 30-minute fire integrity grade when tested by TRADA, Chiltern and Underwriters Laboratories where they passed the vigorous hose test. Panels can be manufactured using a variety of glass options, some of which are, Pilkington Pyroshield Safety, Pyroguard C730 clear, Pilkington 10mm Pyrodur and Securiglass 19mm Pyrosec which is ideal for security establishments. High specification panels for installation into X-ray suites or laser surgery units are available to order.

The primary role of hospitals is to provide medical support for the community and provide a safe and secure working environment for patients, medical professionals and visitors, the provision of which should significantly reduce the opportunity for crime or disruption.
