Many burglaries and acts of vandalism are opportunist crimes. A vandal only needs to spot an open window or an unlocked door or gate to make their move. Look at your home or business through the burglar's eyes. If you think your security looks poor, chances are so will a thief.
Faced with a wide range of products it is often difficult to know how effective they are. It is true to say that given time, sophisticated power tools or inside information security may eventually be beaten. Good prevention denies the use of normally available tools, increases the risk for the thief perhaps by increasing the noise, effort and time to steal, or reduces the value to the thief.
Discreet and Natural Surveillance
The simple design of VISTAMATIC® vision panels makes them ideal for applications where observation of potentially hostile or dangerous individuals is required. The security sector assumes an even greater role in society in these times of terrorism and violent crime. Depending on the security risk, we are able to substitute our standard range of safety glass, with a choice of high integrity safety glasses in areas where resistance to manual attack is required.

Built and designed by Allenbuild, this new project complies with the latest Home Office advice on safety and security making the new facility a safer environment for the detention of prisoners.
Inspector Barry Steele quotes; “We have a duty of care to look after the welfare of everybody in the custody suite and these vision panels have provided invaluable assistance in helping us to achieve this”
Leicester Constabulary’s new central custody and major incident facility is benefitting from vision panels from Vistamatic. Designed to enable discreet surveillance, the panels allow officers to oversee events in key rooms where health, safety and security are of critical importance.
The panels are a far more cost – effective alternative to electronic devices.
